The Nook Nacs – Carol Parana of Johnsonburg, PA is a local artists that creates many beautiful treasures: hand painted gourds, benches, stepping stones, bird houses home made Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls, snowmen and many more homemade items. The shop also has hand knit scarves, beautiful pictures of  Cook Forest, hand made pottery, woodworking and many other crafts by locals artists. Carol is also the person who bakes and creates the desserts that are sold in the restaurant, we have people drive for miles to get a piece of her homemade bread pudding that is topped with a vanilla praline sauce, she makes an incredible coconut cake, peanut butter fudge ice cream topping, toll house pie and the cheesecakes she makes are delicious!  You never know what she will create!

She also makes cakes, pies or whatever dessert you may need for your special occasion.
